Overview
This connector is build to connect ROOMZ the Application in Webuntis to the ROOMZ Portal. For the connection between the Roomz portal and the application, you will need the Server URL / Tenant ID / OIDC Client ID and the password. These details can be obtained by following the guide.
Create an application
Login to your management consol of WebUnits
Select Administration and then platform.
Click to the orange + on top right:
Scroll until you see ROOM.
Add “portal” to the domain
Copy the Server URL / Tenant ID / OIDC Client ID:
Scroll down and select “save”
In the next window, you need to enter your E-Mail and save the password. We need this later to sign in with the ROOMZ Portal. Select “I understood” & “Password saved”:
Create the booking system in the ROOMZ Portal
Login to the ROOMZ Portal and navigate to Global Settings - Booking system and select add booking system, there you select WebUnits, here you can fill in all the copied credentials from last step:
Click Save and select the booking system in order to add resources.
Click on Add Resource and fill in the Name of the Resource, and the Resource ID (external ID of the room).
You can find or define the external ID in the Masterdata → rooms section of WebUntis (you need to edit the room):copy the External ID, if there is one, or enter a new one and save it.
With the external ID, you can add your resources to the ROOMZ Portal:
Test the connection with “Test all” if the resources are green, you have successful connect WebUntis with ROOMZ.
