Content
Overview
With our connector via Delegation for Google Workspace, we connect with a Service User to your Google Workspace. Therefore, you need to create a new user and accept some scopes.
Create a user and share the resources
To create the Service User, log in with your Google Workspace Admin to admin.google.com and navigate to Directory - User.
Click on Add new user and create a User to log in to the ROOMZ Portal. We recommend naming the user “ROOMZ Manager”.
Go to Google Calendar by connecting to: https://calendar.google.com.
Go to Settings and choose the first calendar you’d like to connect to ROOMZ.
Click Shared with and then Add people and groups
Under Integrate calendar, you will find the calendar ID. You will need this later to connect the resource in the ROOMZ Portal.
Add the ROOMZ Manager created before and select “Make changes to events” under Permission. Then click Send.
Repeat steps 4 to 6 for each room/resource
Create the booking system in the ROOMZ Portal
Log in to the ROOMZ Portal and navigate to Settings - Booking system and select Add Booking System, then select Google (Delegation):
