Wi-Fi Connection - Retries

This page explains the behaviour of the ROOMZ Devices, when failing to connect to the programmed Wi-Fi network



In case of failing to connect to the Wi-Fi network and depending on the version of the device's Firmware, here are the current delays before the device tries a new connexion. 

Example with version 2.1.0: 11:00:00, The devices tries to connect to the Wi-Fi, connexion unsuccessful

  • 1st retry:    11:00:02

  • 2nd retry:   11:01:02

  • 3rd retry:    11:03:02

  • 4th retry:    11:07:02 

  • 5th retry:    11:15:02

The interval doubles each time, and once reached 30720 seconds (approximately 8h), the devices retries then every 30720 seconds (approximately 8 hours).
