Switching on

This example shows a ROOM Sensor, but the steps are the same for DESK and HUDDLE versions.

All ROOMZ Sensors are delivered switched off, with their housing open. Follow these steps to switch on the devices.

Find the power switch of the sensor, and turn it on. 

 


Check the LED. It should blink green on both sides (left and right), then the left LED shall blink red, orange or green to show the battery status. (This sequence is valid for the devices with the latest Firmware version. Versions are updated regularly on the Cloud Server. If you have an On-Prem Server and this sequence isn't the same, get in touch with us for a firmware update).

During approximately 1 minute, the LED will then blink red, according to the movements detected. Move normally in the area, and check if the movements are correctly detected. Adjust the position of the device accordingly if some areas are not covered correctly.
